This is really up to you, when you come for your personal design consultation you’ll have the opportunity to select from our product range which starts at $225 and goes up from there. Most of our clients choose to invest between $1000 and $5000 on their portraits.

For us selling the digital files is a bit like a builder just giving you the house plans the job is far from complete. We value tangible beautiful products that you can enjoy everyday for the rest of your lives, not just on Facebook. We hope you value this too! So, we don’t have digital files in our product range. But we understand that if we’ve done a great job that you’d love to also share your portraits digitally. Which is why we happily give you web quality files of your purchased portraits with orders including Accent size portraits (or larger) and for all of our collections.

This does vary depending on who is in the photos. Small children are renown for having the attention span not much longer than a goldfish so even though we incorporate fun things for them to do we work very hard to capture awesome shots very quickly. Typically a portrait session will last 1 to 1 and a half hours.

That’s up to you! We don’t like to put maximum numbers as we understand every family is different. Naturally the more people the more logistics are involved with coordinating, but if it’s doable we will do it!

Your photos should be taken at a place that holds your heart just like the people in the photos also do. There are so many amazing locations available, and when you book with us we’ll chat through the best place for you – we love to recommend our favourites which can vary depending time of year and time of day. Or if you’d like us to come to your home or a place that you love we are more than happy to do so. (travel charges apply for locations outside of 30km of Christchurch or Rangiora).

Your style is part of who you are so there is no one correct answer to this question! Once you’ve booked we’ll talk you through and offer some ideas about what you and your family members should wear.

Your smile and a sense of humour is compulsory! We also welcome portraits with your prize pooch, Harley, show jumper, Mustang, BMX whatever it is. If you feel a thing or pet part of who you or your family are talk to us and we’d love to come up with the creative ideas that are uniquely you!

It is our belief that your portrait session needs to be fun and with the skill and experience of our award winning photographers we’ll make everyone feel comfortable and you can be assured that any nerves within your family will simply melt away. We feel its important that all family members are equally valued so would talk to the family member before the shoot to take any doubts away. We will create a memorable experience for you all.

Your sitting ideally should be booked for when you are between 34 and 38 weeks pregnant. If there is a family history of early delivery 32-36 weeks is recommended.

Absolutely, no problem at all.

We have appointments available Monday to Saturday, and this includes weekday evenings when daylight savings allows. Because, like you we value family time so Sundays are not available. Saturdays are very popular and are often booked weeks in advance so wherever possible we recommend opting for a weekday. Weekdays sessions are $175 and Saturdays are $275.

The easiest place to make decisions about your portraits is while you are looking at them. And we do offer a 5% incentive for purchasing at the time of your initial design consultation. We’ll guide you through what to prepare for prior to the viewing to make these decisions easier for you.

We accept a full range of payment options including bank deposit, credit card, Q card, eftpos, cash and cheque. We also have payment plans available so you can spread the cost of your photography investment with payments as low as $20 per week *(subject to approval, terms and conditions apply).
