Booking Session Agreement – Tandem Photography

The contract is between the Photographer and the Client as detailed below:

Tandem Photography referred to hereafter as “Photographer”

The Photographer is responsible for providing the Client a photographic service as detailed in this Agreement. The Client undertakes to engage the Photographer for this coverage for the price as detailed below.

Session Inclusions:

Portrait Session of approximately one hour in duration.
Mileage up to 50km (each way), if applicable.
Personal Design Consultation at Tandem Photography Studio (separate appointment time).
Opportunity to purchase portraits from session at Design Consultation.

EXHIBITION: Client grants Photographer permission to display selected images resulting from this assignment as an example of Photographer’s work and for entrance into photographic competitions, and releases all claims to profits that may arise from use of images. SOCIAL MEDIA AND ADVERTISING: Client grants to Photographer the right to use and publish photographs of Client, Client’s child or children for social media, advertising and promotional purposes. MILEAGE: For photography sessions beyond 50 kilometres Tandem Photography Studio (650 Ferry Road), the Client is responsible to pay mileage for the excess amount (roundtrip). Mileage is to be calculated at $0.85 per kilometre. Client will be invoiced directly following session and is payable within 7 days of session. POSTPONEMENT DUE TO WEATHER: If it is not possible for a session to take place on a scheduled day due to weather, Photographer and Client will reschedule on an agreed date at the earliest date possible, with no additional charge. NO SHOWS/ LATE CANCELATION: A $125 charge applies if you cancel your booking with less than 12 hours notice, or if you fail to show. INCLUDED PARTIES: The Client agrees that he/she is responsible for all parties involved with the agreed upon photo session. If there is an individual involved in the photo session who does not agree to the terms of this agreement the Client assumes responsibility for any liability. DESIGN CONSULTATION: All sessions include a personal design consultation which will occur approximately 5-10 days after the session. This session is to choose your images and place your print order. All decision makers must attend. This is the only time to view all edited images. Additional design consultations will incur an additional fee of $100. IMAGE STORAGE: Ordered images will remain archived at Tandem Photography. Unordered images will be purged after 90 days from the date of the first viewing. PRINT/ORDER CREDIT: Any and all print credit or pre-session purchase of vouchers, sessions, products and/or collections are not redeemable for cash.
